Whonix

Overview

Whonix is a free and open source operating system designed to provide strong online anonymity and security. It runs inside virtual machines and forces all internet traffic through the Tor network to hide the user IP address and location. The system uses a unique two VM architecture with a gateway that handles Tor connections and a workstation where applications run which prevents IP leaks and protects against many surveillance and tracking attacks.
