Overview

PDF Dark is a privacy focused PDF conversion tool that runs completely client side in the browser. Using a saturation aware rendering algorithm, it darkens text and backgrounds while preserving photos, charts and other colored content in their original appearance. Unlike viewer based dark themes, PDF Dark generates a new downloadable PDF that remains dark across Kindle, iPad, Adobe Acrobat and other PDF readers. The project is MIT licensed, ad free, requires no signup and keeps all files on the user's device at all times.
