Overview

KolibriOS is a tiny yet powerful operating system for x86 compatible PCs that requires only a few megabytes of disk space and very little RAM. Its kernel and drivers are written primarily in FASM assembly language, allowing the system to boot in seconds and applications to start almost instantly. Despite its minimal footprint, KolibriOS includes a graphical desktop, text and graphics applications, web browsing, networking tools, development utilities, file system support and more than 30 games. It is derived from MenuetOS and distributed under the GPLv2 license.
