Hermes Agent

Overview

Hermes Agent is an autonomous AI agent developed by Nous Research that combines long term memory, procedural skill learning, task automation and tool use into a self hosted platform. Unlike session based assistants, it remembers projects and preferences across conversations, generates reusable skills from experience, supports multiple model providers and can be accessed through the terminal, desktop app, Telegram, Discord, Slack, WhatsApp and other channels. It includes web browsing, coding tools, subagents, scheduling, sandboxed execution environments and persistent knowledge management.
