GitReverse

Overview

GitReverse transforms a public GitHub repository into a single short conversational prompt that can be pasted into AI coding tools such as Cursor Claude Code or Codex to recreate the project from scratch. It retrieves repository metadata, the root file tree at depth one and the README, then uses an LLM to generate a prompt grounded in that context. Users can paste a GitHub URL or owner/repo, while shareable repository paths provide a convenient way to run the same reverse engineering flow.
